Lewis: 13 months

-The little guy is still just cruisin' around. It takes him a while to build up confidence. Specially when he has a sister that pushes him over whenever she walks by him (and she walks by him a lot!)
-But most of the time he looks like in the picture below. (I apologize to Lucia for posting a picture of her with funky eyes... hehe). He's ALWAYS smiling.
-He thinks he can talk. but it's mostly "ah!" in different tones and lengths. He does have 'mama' down. And just randomly says "buh-buh" for bye- bye. He says "uh-ohhhhh" And yes, it goes that long...."uh-ohhhhhhhh". He says "sda?" for "what's that?"
-He started waving bye too. Whenever we put our jackets on, he starts to wave bye at the air. Must be,  because nobody is being left behind.
-This, above, is what daddy likes to do with his buddy-boy. Apparently daddy thinks he's a toy.
-He loves kisses, and attacking with kisses. Don't ever try to rest on the floor, that is when and where he attacks. I, personally, love being attacked by him. So I'm often on the floor.
-The boy is such a food monster! He loves EVERYTHING! And prefers to feed himself... with a spoon or fork. He's getting pretty good at it, too.
-He just started understanding "tira el binky" which means "throw the binky" in spanish. It's so cute that he just throws it, and claps at himself for doing a good job. He does the clapping also when he stands... to him I think it means 'good job!'
- He likes to climb on things. Like the couch, Lucia's bed, Lucia's stool, etc. It was scary at first, but he's proven to be a pretty good climber. He can get himself down, too.
-He will not go with just anyone. His social or seperation anxiety still exists. He hangs on to us for dear life when we get close to somebody else. I guess he thinks we're gonna hand him over.
-Anything that looks like a phone, becomes his phone. He will put it over his shoulder and pretend to be talking on the phone. This is the cutest and saddest thing ever. Sad because he probably sees mommy on the phone a lot. Hahaha!
We just can't get enough of this little dude. He's just so yummy and cuddly, and we can't stop giving him kisses. He's so fun to have around, and we just can't imagine how our lives would be without him in our family!

Birthday Boy

Little Lewis (A.K.A. Buddy-Boy) turned 1 on Dec. 1st.  This post will mostly be pictures of his party. It was a 'Big Top' circus theme party ... so much fun!
Here he's eating cake on his actual birth day. The party was 2 days later. Cute little dude.
 The party!
Here's my big man with his "1" shirt I made :). Well, I made the "1" .
Some of the tables. Centerpieces are actually puppets held up by paper cups.
The cake table! I made the cakes. My mom helped me with the big top. We used paper and decorated over it! It took forever but was sooooo worth it!
The cupcakes were so fun to make and decorate! Definitely the easiest.

Above: He wouldn't keep his hat on, and girlies on the ring toss.

With Abuela
Oh! the 'non-professional' face-painting. They still liked it :)
Taking a turn at the ring toss.
Pizza time!
More face painting and the drawing station
Musical Chairs... so fun!

Candle time! Chauncey says it's Tucker tradition to lick the candle after blowing it off. So we do.
Lewis bites it though.

The after-party party. That's right, we party all week long!
