It's snowy outside!

Yesterday was a nice snowy day. Chauncey came home from school and work early, so we decided to take Lucia outside for a few minutes to play in the snow. That way we could also take some pictures of her in it (for scrapbooking... if I ever get to it)! She was so happy in the snow! I guess it felt good on her skin when the cold flakes touched her face. SO cuuuuute!

A New Obsession!

Lucia's newest obsession is.... taking a bath!! Every day Lucia takes a bath at around noon. Now's that she's sitting with little support, she's been enjoying her warm baths while playing with her toys and splashing water everywhere with her hands!! It's soooo cute to watch. Two days ago I noticed she would cry once I pulled her out. And I thought 'could she really be crying because she didn't want her bath to be over?' So, I decided to do a little experiment. Everytime I brought her closer to her bath tub, she would start laughing and smiling with excitement, also trying to reach into the water! When I took her away fromt the water... she began to cry again!!! Today, I put her down to get her bath ready, and when she saw me walk in with the bath tub, she started kicking and getting all excited! She was also doing this as I undressed her for her bath. Finally I sat her in her little tub, and she was HAPPY as can be! She absolutely loves her bath!!! 3 months old!!

Lucia's 3 months old!!!! She's such a sweet baby! She's smiling more each day and is reacting to the TV. We should probably watch less of it... I've got a couple of pictures of her at 3 months




It's getting cold, so mommy makes her wear big coats and stuff...

....annnnnd... one of her favorite things to do... READ!!! She's a smarty :)

just like her aunt Amelia :)

We love ours baby girl soooo much and enjoy learning about her and her cute little personality! She brings so much joy to our lives and feel so blessed to have her!!

My First Blog

So... I've noticed that everyone has a blog, and I think it's a really nice way to keep in touch with family and friends everywhere! As you could have already imagined my first post will be about our new baby girl, Lucia (who knows... maybe all posts will be about her).
Today I was looking at some pictures of our new baby in the computer. She's grown sooooo much in the last two months!!! I don't think you realize how much your baby has grown until you see before and after pics. Here's a picture of her at the hospital, with daddy:

Cute, huh??? So finally, here she is at her current age... Lucia at 2 months:

So you see... Lucia's getting older, bigger, and stronger. And we're enjoying every minute of it!!! She's so much fun! She loves to play with daddy when he gets home, and gets excited when she hears his voice. They both connect really well. We try to keep her awake from 7-10pm every day so that she can sleep most of the night. Almost that whole time Chauncey's playing with her and making baby noises at her, like "agaaa" or "gaaaa." It's hilarious and extremely cute.

Anyway, like I said, it's my first post and I promise to post more. But I think I'm done for now :).
